| Note | This family lineage provided by Leona Blocher Betteridge is not at all firm. It is very odd that all of the children of Michael Gerst have exact birthdates--except Theobald--suggests there is a baptismal record for all of the children--except Theobald. This in turn suggests that Theobald was merely tacked on to the family, that there is no real evidence supporting the connection. (Note by Karen Dale) The birthplace of Theobald is also out of place with all his siblings listed here both before and after.
